CardCue is a privacy-first credit card recommendation app. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
All of the following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to any server owned or operated by CardCue:
CardCue requests precise location permission to identify the store or merchant you are near. Your location is:
CardCue uses the Google Places API to identify nearby merchants. When you request a recommendation, your approximate coordinates are sent to Google's servers to retrieve place information. This is the only network request the app makes.
If you grant notification permission, CardCue may show a notification with the recommended credit card when you open the app. Notifications are processed entirely on-device.
If you choose to send a bug report from Settings, CardCue attaches a local log file to the email containing timestamps, app events, place names, device info, and approximate coordinates. This is only shared when you explicitly choose to send the email.
Delete all app data from Settings → Danger zone → Delete all data. Uninstalling the app also removes everything.
CardCue is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
